There is a pretty high threshold to let a coach go mid-season. Bielema meets criteria.

Have to say I agree and I’m a Bielema fan. To get throttled this bad by a bad Ole Miss team playing a backup QB is don’t get back on the plane firing worthy.

I don't see it happening. They'll let him finish the season and get some other gig lined up before he gets the axe.

Holy damn. Forgot the game was on at 11 (shows my current level of enthusiasm for razorback football). 10 min left in 2nd quarter and they have 31 points

I was going to post a thread about how if Broyles were our AD, Bert would be fired on the bus back to Memphis after the game. Of course, if Broyles were our AD, Bert probably wouldn’t have survived 56-3 last year, either.

Do you guys remember when Bert fired Markuson midseason at Wisconsin for the OL sucking? No reason for Bert to be here anymore. Let Dan Enos finish up the season or Paul Rhodes. Firing Bert will be the first mistake that gets corrected.

It’s painfully obvious by now that that was Alvarez’s doing.
Bert doesn’t have the stones to fire a coach midway through a season. If he did, Anderson would be gone, and Smith and/or Segrest would’ve been fired midseason last year.
