He was pretty explosive. Hope he starts seeing more playing time.

My question is, why hasn't he been playing much before Ole Miss?

Because Pittman has an extensive track record of playing the wrong players.
Pool over Paul.
Fletcher over Bauer.
Not playing McAdoo until implored to do so.
Haselwood over Ketron.
Washington never seeing the field until Hasz went down (have the coaches ever heard of 12 personnel?).
Rocket over Dubinion (or any other back besides Johnson).
Teslaa over Dozier or Sategna.
In the non-player department, Enos over Briles.
