Why a shite ton of money at Golesh? He's been 4-4 and conference and 7-6 each of the past two years, we had basically that with Pittman.

Why is Silverfield going to be a hot name?
What has he done that Fuentes and Norvall didn't at Memphis?

Why wouldn't Silverfield be a hot name? You're just trying to argue every side. If you don't think Silverfield is going to he a serious candidate for bigger jobs then there's nothing I can say to help you along.

I didn't say to throw a shite ton of money at Golesh. I just quoted and pointed out his wife is from Greenwood.

But if we land on Golesh then we had better be prepared to throw whatever cash it takes to land him and a great staff.

What makes them hot names?

I'm not seeing anything special from either one of them.

Silverfield has done less than Norvall (who will be available) and arguably less than Fuentes. It reminds me of the VCU coaches in basketball who never found the same success outside of VCU while VCU inserts next HC and doesn't miss a beat.

Because, Hunter is a moron. He wasted last year not firing when no one else was looking.

Silverfield is fools gold. Memphis has become plug and play. They haven't had a coach leave there and be mega successful unless you want to think that of FSU's coach... I don't!

If you’re wanting Golesh, might as well pay the $10M for Rhett

I don’t want silverfield. I’ve wanted Mullen, Schumann or BP for 2+ years now. I want all them if hired to have a football first and only GM and a new AD.

I mean Golesh did turn around a program that was 4-29 the 3 years before him

There is no context needed, that is his recent HC record.

What happened 10-15 years ago is irrelevant in 2025 or 2026!

It shows the decline just like his OC record of 14-17 and both HC's he worked for got fired.

Idk what you don't understand about that.

Has one of the top offenses in the nation, sucks as an OC. Couldn’t be the defense, that good guy Sam kept after being shite the previous two years, being at the bottom every statistical category.

To be that dumb, must be difficult.

I’m not even an acolyte for Bobby being head coach, I’d rather keep him as an OC for Sumrall or Schumann. Won’t happen but I’d prefer that.

He's 5th in the SEC come on man. KB did the same back to back years!

Get out of here with that crap his "top" offense led to 6-6 @ A&M in 23, 6-6 here last year and is currently 2-5.

And you guys ran him off blaming him for the failures of the defense, when you are in the top 10 for putting up the most points per game and losing, it’s not your offense.

You people make me defend positions I don’t even give a frick about. All you have to do is be honest. If you said Bobby is a burnout twat of a person, who has torched every program he has been involved with, I’d say no argument here.

No you guys to it I'm still a big KB fan. Thats all on Sam and his insecurities letting Dowell take liberties in play-calling over KB.

That wasn’t Dowell, that was Sam being a good guy wanting to slow down a game that we were scoring at will in. This cost us so many games by breaking the momentum.

Also it was Odom saying his defense was gassed. But that only comes from Sam himself in multiple press conferences. So yes I’m sure it was Dowell.

Kiffin goes to Florida. Ole Miss makes Bobby their guy with the full backing of their boosters and NIL. Bobby kicks the shite out of whatever retard we hire until he retires with 3 nattys from OM at age 75. Or he maybe even lands back a Auburn where it all began. Worst case, Drink takes another job and BP goes to Mizzou.

Yeah forget the fact the coach before him went 12-43 before he went 18-15 and won them a conference title for the first time in three decades. No context needed. Also hilarious of you to start the counter the only year in Louisville he didn't win at least 8 games, the year his dad died.

Yeah nothing says declining OC like having the 4th best offense in the country while playing the 3rd toughest schedule.

You avoid context because it destroys your argument. You just don't like Bobby and want to pretend it's based on performance so you cherry-pick time frames and say context doesn't matter when it's far more personal than that.
