Trelon Smith ran for over 100 yards and KJ wasn't far behind with almost 90. Rocket averaged 6.3 yards per carry. We had double the yards on the ground than we did through the air.
There's nothing bad you can say about the defense. They gave up 10 points in the first half when the opposing team had an average starting point of midfield. One busted coverage accounted for the only points allowed in the 2nd half.
The blocked punt was bad, but overall the kicking game looks much improved in the punting, kickoff, and FG kicking departments. No shanked 12 yard punts, no fake fair catches returned for a TD. Kickoffs either in or out of the endzone.
As soon as we started completing passes to sustain drives the game immediately turned. Guess that was just coincidence.

Yes, it was fricking Rice dude. Which is why the passing game was allowed to be so bad that we only get 120 yards on 12 completions and still win by 21.

What game were you watching?
ST, OL struggled mightily.
The team looked unprepared in all phases against Rice imo. Briles continues to struggle and or learn on the job.
I'll be interested to see how much we improve Saturday.
Another Razorback win, always good.
