NET: 39 (up from 47)
Q1 Wins: 5
Q1 & Q2 Wins: 7
SOS: 34
Because of State loss to Texas, Saturday is no longer a Q1 opportunity. They sit at NET 33. If UGA can continue to win, that home win can go back to a Q1. They sit at NET 32 currently.

After Saturday's loss ESPN had Arkansas at a 10% chance to make the tourney. This was around 2:30 pm ish.
By Tuesday night at 9 pm Arkansas was back to the last 4 in line.
They bubble is that weak this year.

Yeah, we really needed Texas to lose for multiple reasons.
Win Saturday and I think we’re 100% in, but I think we’re likely in regardless.
Its a TV show after all and Cal is one of the biggest stars in the business.

Texas and Oklahoma still out for now, but they play each other in the final regular season game. Winner could move to last 4 in but no guarantee.

They’re on their way to 5 wins.
They also have 3 really good OOC wins. But they’re not going to make it IMO. They lost lots of games lately and the committee usually holds how a team finishes in high regard.

If they beat Texas, and win a game or two in the tournament, I think they make it. Which makes it tough for us if we lose to Miss State

I get your point...and I could also see an SEC team being 7-11 in league play getting in the NCAAt. I just do not see the NCAA Committee awarding a bid to a team that is 6-12 in conference play, and would have lost 7 of their last 11 games (which would include a win this weekend).

I agree most likely, however if they win a couple tournament games, that’s 8 conference wins. If we’re sitting with 7 or 8 wins and the head-to-head loss, I’m not sure that goes in our favor

I don’t think the committee will take that into consideration. It all comes down to Saturday.
A few years ago A&M was the hottest team in the country and made it to the SEC tournament championship and still got snubbed.

I think by Friday they have the selections made. If you’re playing on Wednesday/thursday it could still have an impact

Sweaty buzz on the sidelines chewing nicotine gum is a lot easier to snub than the biggest name in college basketball.
Hoping Cal's brand works in our favor regardless of the outcome Saturday.

I hope the Bud Bowl is packed on Saturday and we can TCB. I feel like that’s what the Committee’s eye will be on way more than the conference tournament. I think you’re absolutely right that Cal’s brand is a boost too - hopefully that works in our favor regardless of Saturday.
