I know we are a year or two away from absolute greatness, but what he has done with this team, with lack of some height. Dude is a great coach imho.

We’re better than I thought we’d be but I still expect us to get mauled by teams with decent front courts.

We have a coach folks, slowed em down when he needed too. Set up the play as well for Jones, and then again for Harris.
We are gonna be really, really good in the future.

Bailey has some good athleticism. He was well above the rim for that dunk.

He plays so much bigger than he actually is. Sick pass from Joe too.
I feel this play is also a microcosm of how this team will be able to find success on the offensive end of the floor this year. As soon as Joe touches the ball, the entire focus of the opposing defense switches to him. That's going to free up a lot of people this year. Even if the help defense had been on time to stop Bailey's drive, Whitt was WIDE open for a kickout.

Absolutely. Beautiful execution on the pick and roll. They froze those two defenders in their tracks.

We still need to temper our expectations a little bit.
I'm still concerned we haven't gotten a 3rd guy that can knock down threes on a regular basis. I think Desi will end up shooting a much better percentage, but it is worrisome.
Jalen has to make plays when he is on the floor as well.

I think Desi has the yips. He put up one of the worst shots I’ve ever seen, then on the other end has an opportunity for an easy alley oop and goes flying under the backboard into the first row of seats.
I think he just needs to settle down, he’s trying too hard and getting into his own head.

Could be the case, but I love his effort and driving ability. Just needs to get the confidence up.

Your win totals are a possibility, but we still have a lot to improve on.
I love what Musselman is doing with the roster. And the defense is going to keep us in games we may be outmatched in.
One thing is for certain, our offense needs to produce a lot more from the perimeter once we start facing better competition. If we can get a guy like Desi, Cylla, or Jalen to knock down 2/3 three pointers per game we will be great.
Just imagine if we had a guy like Macon or Hannahs on this team
