Looking at the top 10 football players for Arkansas in 2026. Missouri owns us

Not that high school recruiting means shite nowadays with NIL and the portal, but according to on3 Arkansas has 2 4 star recruits in state and 8 3 stars. It looks like the 2 best players will go to either Missouri, Oklahoma, or Oregon and missouri ole miss and Oklahoma seem to be in position to take much of the rest. Kane archer and the 2 worst 3 stars are also in good shape for us so at least we got that going on.

It's easier to sell our current program to out of state kids who don't know any better. Local kids see the apathy of the fanbase. Good thing money and transfers let us recruit decent players nationally now.
Not the worst thing really. Most will probably come back here anyway. I'm fine with someone else overpaying for them out of high school.

I wouldn't bother recruiting high school players anymore, you develop them just to hit the portal. It's a waste of time and money.

Not a big deal today. It's all money based.
