There’s a lot wrong here.

Kids with more money than they ever expected equaling lack of effort….see Aidoo and Nelly.

There only one Arkansas kid on the entire roster….a walk on. Lawson Blake from Fayetteville. Nobody gonna accuse anyone on the team (other than Blake) of “loving the hog”. I’m old. I think that matters.

Everyone involved is nothing more than a hired gun. Mostly vastly overpaid based on things from the past with little reason to have any fire in the belly.

Similar point….but no fire in the belly. At the first sign of life from the opponent…we just quit. No hustle. No rebounding. We just jack 3s we can’t hit and look for highlight dunks. Not sure our kids know or care what the score is.

I’d hoped Calipari had something to prove. I’m over that. He’ll take his checks until Johnny gets tired of writing them….which probably won’t be long.

We finally had something good with the Muss Bus. I felt like we had our coach.

Now, well... The optimism is just gone. So sad.

Muss had equally bad starts to conference play. We had some good tournament runs under him but he wasn’t particularly good during conference play. Have to give cal a pass for year one. Next year will be make or break.

As for this year we can’t shoot. Might as well play our biggest lineup and hope for rebounding and putbacks. The 3 guard lineup isn’t working.

I’d try 2 guards: boogie, Wagner with rare substitution by Davis.

Play theiro at the 3 with Knox spelling him.

Adoo and Brazile down low with occasional big Z.

OM is definitely good especially on defense.

Mizzou is blasting UF in Florida so far though 35-20.

Ultimate, How the Cards looking? I cut them out of my life last year, and Hogs are next on my list.

.500 not contenders for WS any time soon.

But the division is terrible so could always win it.

Looks like they have decided to build around the young guys. Hopefully it will pay off in a year or two.

Also another night with 16 missed layups.

We’ve missed 30 in the last two games.

Thats embarrassing.

Maybe they can get it together in the back half of the schedule and get to 7-8 wins and have a shot at the NCAAT but it sure seems like they're a 3-5 SEC win team.

I never would've guessed this team would be so bad.

Kind of strange how with an entirely new roster and coaching staff, we have mostly the same problems as last season.

1. We are softer in the frontcourt than almost every team we face

2. We don't have shooters.

Makes sense because our transfers have been huge disappointments. I thought Aidoo would fix #1, Nelly could fix #2.

You'd think we could still be better than last season, because we do have a true PG that's pretty good, and a monster SF. But at the end of the day, the 3 ball and physical post play from other teams is too much for us to overcome.

I also think this team cares less than last year's team, which is saying something.

True but Brazile has been pretty good lately. I don't think he's the problem

Cal was this bad at Kentucky once. We are just cursed.

When we hire Will Wade I'll start caring again
