Knox Hamilton is a local band that's made some splashes in the indie scene recently. This was a popular song a few years ago. Ignore the weird video LINK

Mother of God, that was awful.

It sounded like it was made for some Nickelodeon kids show.

The director of Little Rock's revived RiverFest says the latest iteration didn't live up to crowd forecasts and that the company needs to regroup before it makes a decision on the event's future.

"It was not what we expected," event director Jack Daniels said Tuesday of the three-day festival held Friday through Sunday along the Arkansas River. "We're really grateful for the folks that did come out."

Memphis-based Universal Fairs had hoped that as many as 10,000 people would turn out each day, but the crowd fell short of that projection, Daniels said.

It wasn’t just that they “played rap”, I didn’t go but reading the act list there was no theme at all. How do you have a concert series where a 70s rock legend is followed by an up and coming R and B artist who is then followed by 80s country. Who was their target audience? I get the idea of eclectic musical tastes, but when there is no theme to the music and hence no target audience you are left only with the people who go for the party.

I agree with you 100% and they need bigger names.
