I don't like him.... for many reasons. He is a back stabbing douchebag who belongs to an occult ran by hypocritical money grubbing douchebags. He is mediocre at best with all of the talent he has to recruit from in the immediate Auburn area. His recruiting and winning ability will no translate here with the disadvantages we have in recruiting area. He has used people to get where he is and he then forgets them.

Short answer... I don't like him.

At least Jen hasn't embarrassed herself like Kristi fruitcake Malzahn.

She's like Diana Nutt, screaming and cussing the refs at the twins basketball games.

Coaches wives need to be seen and not heard IMO

Gus Malzahn is an underachieving carbon copy of Houston Nutt. He has placed himself on the hot seat at Auburn year in and out for losing too many games.

Auburn won 0 conference games the year before Gus took over. Since then they've been in the conference title race 2 out of 5 years. Sure there were some mediocre seasons in between (though not bad seasons), but he only had one year of college head coaching before that. Saban didn't win 10 games until his 8th season.

despite being a short distance from one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country (Atlanta)"

Does Auburn's proximity to Atlanta explain how he was able to steal top talent out of Arkansas multiple times?

quote:

All indications are that he would be exactly like Houston Nutt, drama and all.

What exactly has he done to be controversial other than go to the wrong church? Everything at the end of '06 was a mess, but there is plenty of blame to go around on that.

I don't know why I need to mention this, but Gus and HDN are nothing alike in terms of coaching philosophy. It's just a bizarre comparison.

They are exactly alike.

Inability to develop a QB.

QBs regress each yeah under them.

Run oriented offense with a junior high level passing game.

Offensive playbook consists of 10 running plays, 5 pass plays, and 15 trick plays that never work.

Each year both will lose games they shouldn't but often will win a game they shouldn't.

Both play favorites with players on he roster, offer spots and playing time to friends kids from their past, kids who would other wise not receive an offer.

Etc.

Oh and both will go super conservative in games allowing defeat to be grabbed from the jaws of victory.

I love it when he's running that shite at Auburn and beating the Gumps.

Gus' offense as of today is averaging 43 points per game vs. SEC opponents.

Sounds just like Nutt.

Just imagine what he could do if he adopted an offense Dale approves of.

Nutt's offense put up big points annually here, doesn't mean it wasn't simplistic and remedial just like Gus's.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics.

Nick Marshall, Scam Newton ain't walking through the door at Arkansas.

Central Arkansas has quit on football, they're cranking out legit BB players.

Who do we have on campus to run his HS offense? CK isn't running a zone read.
