So you're telling me you'd take Skip Holtz over Gus? Really?
Posted on 11/18/17 at 5:30 pm to BoarEd
are you seeing what Fuente is doing at VT? Hell he was down 24-0 to Bert at one point last year, that's bad enough.
Posted on 11/18/17 at 5:31 pm to Latarian
This is year 2 for Fuente at VT.
Last year he came from behind 24 to Bielema and won his game. In year 1.
He is head, shoulders, and waist above Bielema.

Norvell, Kiffin, Frost (Nebraska) are the types we should be targeting.
If you list Strong might as well list Taggart.

If they hire Malzahn I won't attend another game until he is fired.
I would rather have you coach our team than that guy.

Forgot about Kiffin.
He is way, WAY above Malzahn on my list.

Who isn’t head, shoulders and waist above Bielema tho

Why? And don’t give some generic answer that you don’t like him.

I find it funny that some of the same people that call Gus a POS want Kiffin.
To be clear, I’m not on the bus.

The answer has been given one thousand times here in the last week. You could just pay attention when people say this shite the first time.
Short version:
Gus Malzahn is an underachieving carbon copy of Houston Nutt. He has placed himself on the hot seat at Auburn year in and out for losing too many games.
He loses 4 games a year at Auburn despite being a short distance from one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country (Atlanta), and I see no reason to anticipate he would do any better than his mentor (Nutt) simply because he's an "Arkansas native."
All indications are that he would be exactly like Houston Nutt, drama and all.
And we basically had to burn the program to the ground to get these dumbass "power brokers" away from our athletic department the last time we had this group calling these shots.
It's literally the height of insanity to ask for round 2 of all this bullshite simply because this coach didn't get it done.

I didn't say I wanted Kiffin. In fact, I left him off my list.
I did say I would place him well above Malzahn though. He'd probably fall somewhere in my 15-30 range. Which I didn't list.
Maybe next time try and be honest.

Couldn’t help, kept reading. I don’t remember Nutt winning the SEC or playing in the national championship game. Am I misremembering?
