Dowell Loggains would be a smart move. We're not smart though. Ridiculous we didn't promote him to OC when we had him here as TE coach. Apparently he couldn't stand working for Pittboss so maybe he wouldn't have taken it anyways

Who is talking about hiring Gus? That moron is on vacation mode, riding into the sunset.
This was about Rhett. Him and Cignetti are the two top names right now. Both just signed extensions. Apparently Rhett’s is only $5M a year before other incentives. As I said about a month ago, both would be getting paid in the off season and we would find out if it was worth it in about a year or two.

I don't understand these stupid posts. He's not getting fired after getting them to a bowl this season, and improving from last year. He may retire, but I'm not sure he does it this season. Some people believe we should be a top of the SEC caliber football team. It's not going to happen. We will have years where we can compete for a SEC title and possibly a playoff spot. It's just not going to happen on a regular basis in football. It never has. I agree he's not the coach to get us there at the moment. Arkansas football has been a shitshow ever since the Petrino debacle.

I’d take Chadwell in a heartbeat.
He’s the perfect balance of age (47) and track record of winning everywhere he’s been.
The guy’s only 47 yet he’s been a head coach for 15 years.
Which of course means we’ll never hire him because we’ll keep Sam too long because “he’s one of us” and Chadwell will ultimately wind up at a place like Auburn and Florida a year after we could have feasibly gotten him.
We’re the program that passes early on Tesla and Bitcoin in order to play the penny stocks or buy a bunch of Pets.com.
