Would be a great hire for Tennessee, and we would get to enjoy Leach's craziness in the SEC without having to play him regularly.

Lecach has been essentially begging to get out of Wazzou for one of these SEC jobs, hell he'd basically pay them, even with all the craziness at Tenner....hell he probably revels in it. It's a perfect situation for him. I always thought the only two SEC jobs that fit him were either Ark and Tennesee because of their locations and vibe

He'll do well in the East once he gets his system installed. Wish he could've been a fall back plan for us.

I'll believe it when I see it. They've been turned down by numerous coaches that weren't half as good as Leach. I doubt a guy like Leach is going to take kindly to knowing the entire country knows he is Tennessee's 8th choice. Lol
Also, there have been others reported on as being "on board" with Tennessee only to later say no. Lol

Twitter is starting to get old. Everyone jumps on these rumors as if they're true and then act surprised when they don't happen. Last night everyone was tripping over themselves to say "OMG I can't believe Tennessee is gonna get Mike Leach after all this!"
Why would you believe Tennessee actually got Mike Leach after everything that had happened in the past week? It went down exactly like every other coach they offered.

good question, but it sounds like he was really offered and didnt see it coming for them to fire their AD in the middle of the process
