Agreed. So windy on top of the cold. I think I drank 16 beers trying to forget the pain

Couldn't even finger blast the misses 2 hours later because my hands were still too frozen to not stick after that game. Cold enough to turn an outtie to an innie.

so... Arkansas was trying to get the bowl in Las Vegas...
Told a couple of other bowls they were interested in vegas.
Then the loss.
Now it looks like AR vs OK or KS.... or Mizzou vs OK or KS
In the Liberty. Not sure which one... of course my source (bowl rep) may be way off...

Not shocked about Liberty. I figured it was a foregone conclusion the minute the clock hit zero.
At first blush, with the opt outs and inevitable portal losses I’d prefer to play Baylor over OU, but my entire mentality with this program right now is “eh, who cares.” Just having difficulty summoning the give-a-shite anymore.

Apathy from the fans gets coaches fired.

I refuse to drive across the street to watch this shite. Didn't watch Mizzou game. Knew it was coming. Went hunting in the rain instead. Didn't see shite, but was much more enjoyable than the shitfest served up by our team and coaches. If Hunter Y don't do something, he can give up football. We're done. Pittman is not the answer. He gave it a good go, but we've seen this too many damn times. Fire up the juke box and send his arse into retirement.
ETA-I'd be much, much more sympathetic if he hadn't hired Jimmy Sexton and pulled the contract shite last year. He's a lying, fat POS. Got paid and sat on his arse. Same as Bert.

Worst mistake he has ever made, or wisest one.
When he pulled the Sexton crap it didn’t sit well with me, but also he set himself up wisely after a good showing.
Dumb on his part because now we all expect better, smart because he’s going to get paid after he gets fired next year.
He lost the team this year and I suspect it will continue to roll downhill next year. Players coaches normally can’t get it back together when they lose it because they spend their time kissing tail instead of chewing it.

Sam doesn't care, he got his retirement. He didn't need all that money just like every overpaid head coach. If he was so honest and sincere then he wouldn't have hired Sexton for a bigger raise. But it is a business after all and so I have zero sympathy for the man.
You got the raise, now get off your arse and go to work!

Looking like a possibility of OK/AR at Liberty or maybe elsewhere. Texas Bowl?

The projections are all over the place right now. I went to 6 different sites, and they predicted us playing 6 different teams: OU, OSU, Baylor, Memphis, Illinois, and Texas Tech.

i have a close relationship with a few bowl reps.
The Liberty and Texas are fighting over us.
Sam doesn't want the vegas one because of the timing. Not enough time to work the portal, recruit, practice prior to the bowl. This is what I have been told....
And he supposedly isn't too enamored with the TX bowl at this time because of the time slot/travel for fans. 9pm same day as Liberty which is at 5:30 i believe.
But it seems to be between those 2

Liberty, Liberty, liberty vs. Kansas?????

Kansas will get fired up for this game. Unfortunately for Arkansas, they will go into the game unmotivated and lose.
Now if it was against Oklahoma it would be the opposite.
