Muss strikes me as a competitor and he has the resources here to achieve his goals if he stays. Outwardly it seems he and his family are happy. The dude is bouncing off the walls here, why give happiness up for that gig?

I wouldn't blame him if he did. It's the Lakers. The freaking lakers came and took your coach. Tip your hat and move on

I've seen nothing that would lead you to believe that this is even on the radar... Fake news until further notice

I wouldn’t blame him, but if he stays a year or 2 and wins a championship with these incoming kids, he will have a bucket list item and the NBA will definitely call, and most likely it won’t be the lakers with Lebron, it could be the lakers without Lebron.

Muss is 58. He has a little girl and I doubt the wife wants to keep pulling her away from her friends that she has made to move to L.A. They probably want stability. They have it in Northwest Arkansas.

I would be more likely to believe they want financial stability, and he is less likely to get fired here than 1 to 3 years when he makes a superstar mad in the NBA.

Why don’t we just sign Bronny James and call it even with Lebron?

I think this is a much to do about nothing situation, He isn't leaving now.
In 2 years, Probably... Would love to contract him up big time... and at least make it known we are in it, to win it even if he leaves.

I talked to Joe Kleine yesterday....he said he wouldnt be concerned about the Lakers. He said his concern was more about other colleges on the west coast if they were to ever come available (UCLA, USC, Oregon, etc)

He did turn down Arizona which is a better job than USC and Oregon.

Well good thing those schools seem happy with their coaches

He can't get away with just reading the first few pages of a book here like his father does.

I don't remember where I heard it from but it was from last year that Arizona was his dream job. I believe the info was posted here.
I don't see him going anywhere. These places don't offer any better chance of winning a title than what Arkansas can do. How many coaches in Arkansas basketball history has gone to an elite eight in the second season and third seasons? How how many schools have done so recently?

I agree with that point.
The only way he leaves is because of 1. Money; 2. Location; or 3. Job Hopping
There are some coaches that like to bounce around jobs because it keeps them from wearing out their welcome or tarnishing their reputation by staying in one spot too long. Not saying Muss is one of those guys but he could be.
In any case, he wont be leaving Fayetteville because he doesnt think he can win here.
