Personally, I've always liked Gundy. I like the high powered offense if he could somehow field a decent defense. He is only making 3.75 million at OKie State.

This is the person I think you make say no first. I don't think we have a good shot of landing him but I feel like it is realistic enough to try.

From what I read Gundy's son goes to U of A, don't know if that'll help anything but it definitely can't hurt.

Gundys been a realistic option the last two times it's been open, Long needs to close a deal.
Ties to the area, knows how to build a program with limited resources, sustained success, dynamic offense, etc. Perfect fit.

I dont want Gundy but he's the most obvious reasonable choice. gives him a step up in the world and last time he almost left he and t Boone didn't get along well
