How the Is this even possible...

Honestly, if they are seriously using Western fricking Kentucky as the "stay or go" game, the what the F are we prolonging the misery for.

I'll just let Eddie from Clarksville say it for me, he went completely psychotic last night. [link=

I cant imagine how chad goes forward hes lost the team 2 years in a row and has kids bound for nfl quitting football. this is a whole new rock bottom.

with that the benefits of firing him now vs a couple weeks dont really exist as he doesnt have anyone beneath him willing or ready to take over for any amount of time anyways.

Yeah, Chad is done, but it does no one any favors to can him right now unless we are ready to announce his replacement right now. Sure it'd make us all feel better but It'd be a bad look for the university.

I think you have to weigh the pros and cons. You fire him now and current players that are thinking of putting their names in the transfer portal might wait to see who the new guy is, while you lose most recruits. You hang on to him and you're in danger of current players entering the transfer portal but can keep the recruiting class somewhat glued down for the next month.

If more recruits jump ship you really have nothing to lose and everything to gain by firing him early. Same with a mass exodus of current players quitting or entering the portal.

Players just want to see SOME light at the end of the tunnel and that the program is serious about becoming a winner, at this point.

After his comments about not regretting playing KJ sooner, I'm concerned that he is trying to keep KJ buried on the depth chart to allow his son to start immediately.

Chad's more like the person who has completely checked out of their job, they can't find anything "better" at the moment so they can't quit as you can't draw unemployment if you quit so you do everything possible to be terminated ensuring you have enough unemployment benefits to get you by until you find a new job.

If the administration is dumb enough to keep him, yes next year will be completely high school with the coach doing everything possible to showcase their child in a effort to get them to the next level in sports. It won't matter if we lose the games which we will as long as juniors stats are off the charts.

Then we need to get cracking on the behind the scenes work. With Florida State canning Taggert competition is about to heat up for the few good coaches out there. We don't want to be the one caught in a game of musical chairs.

I'm all for it if we got the guy. When you just shoot from the hip and do frick all with your prep and vetting, you make a frick all hire like Chad Morris.

@ RB right on man, it's like what do you prefer? The rock? Or the hard place?

Boy and girls, we might just be well fricked and far from home.

Bottom line is Arkansas has a safe hire and/or a safe fall back plan going unnoticed winning 8+ games a year a complete nothing program in Florida.
