Hopefully Mike can recruit some talent to open up the floor even more for him. If he is still the head hog after this year.

These frickers are so miserable they can't even say anything kind about a freshman who just set a single season shooting record on a night where the Hogs won by damn near 40 points on the road.

I read last week that multiple NBA GM's/scouts have contacted the Arkansas Hawks doing homework on Joe.
Hope he doesn't go pro for one more year.

I imagine we will get him for one more year. That one NBA scout said they're looking to see how he develops this offseason and into next year.
At least I hope anyways. He's a damn good player. He can do it all out there. Damn good defender, ball distributor, scores off the dribble, rebounds. Everything.

Scouts have defiantly had their eye on him for awhile now. I think most are still waiting for him to develop other parts of his game. If he can get a little better with is off the dribble shot, he could be elite on the offensive side.

Yeah, I saw one scout say that but I think he will just naturally in an off-season program add what he needs. I don't think that is something he needs to be actively pushing.

Nope.
By the numbers, Rotnei is probably the best shooter to play for the Razorbacks. Only 3 players have a better 3-point percentage, and those 3 played with a shorter 3-point line.
Don't get me wrong, though. Joe is good, but not ready to be crowned best shooter. He might light the world on fire next year and then we can crown him.
ETA: I checked and Joe's current percentage is better than Rotnei's, but doesn't register on the HogStats site because Joe hasn't attempted enough 3's yet. So Joe may very well be the greatest shooter when it's all said and done. I will downvote myself for not doing the math.

The year Rotnei made 100 he shot .427%, while Joe is at .430% currently.

Nah. It's close, but Joe is better. He's already an NBA lock as a freshman. It isn't going to be a question of if he's drafted, but how high.
Don't get me wrong, I love Pat Bradley, but he isn't the same sort of shooter Joe is. Joe has already set like 5 records. We will probably only get him this next year, but there won't be any doubt at all by the time he's done.
