Lane or Leach would make for some great material even in bad years

I'm pretty much sold on the lane train over norvell at this point for some reason.

The difference for me there is that if Norvell comes in and wins the SEC for the next 2 years, he'll still be the Arkansas coach for another 5. If Kiffin does it, he's the Notre Dame, or Michigan, or Ohio State, or Alabama coach in year 3.

Literally zero chance of knowing that.

Why would Norvell not jump at an offer? Because he had corn rows at UCA?

This kind of what if crap drives me insane.

Agreed but Norvell has a better chance of staying in that situation over Kiffin.

True. Is it ok if I have my own opinion? I'll edit if not.

Well, by many accounts the head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks is what the man wants to be. There's no way of knowing that either, but it's been said here and elsewhere many times.

Yep. Same prick you were yesterday.

You don't think that Norvell would show just a little more loyalty than Kiffin. Norvell is a wildcard since he hasn't been a coach very long. Kiffin has shown that in the past he will jump. That doesn't mean he hasn't changed but I know what is more likely at this moment.

That being said I would most likely choose Kiffin over Norvell atm anyway.

I don't give a crap where they go, if they win the sec championship twice...

By that time I will care, but at least we had something to sail over, and enjoy.

Like I tell my kids, "Just enjoy the success of the day, before worrying about the next 5 years.. what we do today, prepares us for that future"

Ole Miss didn’t pass over anybody. No one wants that job it’s more toxic than Knoxville. That’s why they promoted Luke.

One of the reasons I refuse to listen to Arkansas sportstalk radio.

Give me some Romy or DP, something with substance.

happy wife, happy life. maria Norvell has "a bigger say than I do" in the job's Mike has taken. She's the boss and she wants to go home.

I like Grant because he’s knowledgeable and not an abject homer. I usually try to catch that show if I leave the office for lunch.

Vernon is a blithering fricking idiot. It’s like the producers picked a stereotypical Hogville poster with a room temperature IQ to be Grant’s cohost just to spice up the show.

I've been tempted to call in to that show just to tell that Vernon guy to shut the hell up because he is ruining a good show. Grant Hall is my favorite of all the Arkansas radio personalities. He drops good info a lot and he isn't afraid to call it like he sees it. Vernon is clueless. And he literally shouts down the host of the show. Lol.
