How much does "Home Field Advantage" really matter?

If we make it to our Super at Fayetteville, we may be back against Ole Miss. Who took 2/3 from us at home and one in the SEC tourney.

Do we have what it takes to whip those Ole Miss WebleSharBlackBears?

They've had our number but we should beat them at home on paper. At the end of the day it's just another 3 game series against an SEC team so flip a coin. That's why this regional pairing sucks so bad.

Honestly, I am worried about Ole Miss especially if Martin and Fletcher continue to struggle.

It honestly plays two factors.

1. The most important is the ability of the opposing pitcher to ignore and drown it out.

2. The influence on the home team guys to give a little extra.

I played serious ball until I was 18 and I promise you that crowd has a huge effect.

Conner Noland is not even close to the pitcher he was in that series, I am much more confident now.

Well,as bad as I don't want to face ole miss again,if we can't win here then we have no business going to Omaha.

We have to play very good teams sooner or later and we have proven we can beat some of them.

As they say,it's nut cuttin time.Step up or go home...

I think so, too. We're 2–3 against them on the year, not 0–5. We split 1–1 in the tourney and lost 2/3 in the regular season. It's just one of those things. I feel we're the better overall team and it will eventually show.

We played like shite against them early in the season, and DVH gives zero fricks about the SEC tournament.

It should be a good series, but we looked dialed-in last night. Baum will be insane.

Supers are always tough. I'm not any more concerned about Ole Miss than I would be Missouri State.

I'm just glad we are at Baum.
