Defense nearly played a perfect game last week. The only thing I saw from my vantage point was over pursuit on their QB's. Their QB's kept slipping tackles and extending drives with their feet. We should have had several more sacks. I was pleased with that side of the ball.

Offense was just baffling. Several plays we should have thrown downfield with the coverage I saw. But we just dink and dunked it. Run blocking looked good for the most part. Pass pro started out fine, but in the 2nd half we had several busts up front.

Hopefully we stretch the field this week because if we don't it will be a long day.

Ole Miss will load up for the run. They won't be too concerned with our passing game.
It will come down to whether we can run on them or not.
Our defense will be okay, maybe even very good.

I think we can get this one at Ole Miss. the defense will need to continue to force a turnover or two. If Cradsuck will stick with the run early, that should open up the passing game. Utilize our young WR size downfield some.

If we can steal this one early, we should be fighting for bowl eligibility later.

Our defense is good enough to win many games on the schedule, but it will require our offense to put up more than 21 points which with the offensive play calling creativity on a Houston Nutt level just isn't going to happen.

I was surprised how good the Ole Miss defense looked against Memphis. The first TD they gave up was due to a questionable roughing the passer penalty. Seems to be the exact opposite of last year, their offense looked awful.

Hope we can get Dorian Gerald back, I think we can have a lot of success on their OL.
