Everybody will rip Muss for not calling a time out but I’m fine with it. The issue is we couldn’t hit wide open shots. That’s not in Muss.

We go in the road and have a horrible night shooting with Valentine in the whistle and we pull one out. I’ll take that every day.

I understand being cold from outside, but those floaters 2-3 feet from the basket need to go in with regularity. Awful shooting tonight. Super sloppy offense in general in the 2nd half.

I'm fine with not calling one to end the 2nd but don't like the decision not at the end of OT, even though it worked out for us.

Having said that, you are 100% about that last part. We had at least 6-7 great looks from 3 in that scoring drought. Joe had at least two open ones that he barley missed. If you don't hit your open shots from deep against the zone, your offense is going to look bad. The other solution is getting your big in the gap of the zone and having him work from there but that was causing TOs by Bailey in the 2nd half.

had we listened to muss we would have tried a layup in transition and shot free throws instead of waiting on them to setup based on the yelling of go go go and pointing towards the basket.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Jones benched and/or suspended in the near future. Not because he took the shot, but because of what he did after the shot, jawing the student section, chatting it up with the GT bench after being taken out of the game, very close to giving it back to GT via an unnecessary technical...

Yeah, he clearly wanted them to push it so GT couldn't set up their defense which makes sense. I just still would rather have a TO after the team wasn't listening.

he was way over the top. it'll be interesting to see what muss does as a response to it. he clearly was displeased.

Chuck asked him about calling timeouts after the game. I don't know if he ever calls them. He doesn't like calling timeouts at all I don't think. Prefers to coach while in the flow of the game.

I wonder what's gonna happen if we ever trail in these games and need to kill momentum. Is he still not gonna call any? I guess it's good we have led our opponents for like 99% of total game time this year.

I feel like we were very tired in OT, thus the missed shots, but we never let down on D which is why we won

Pump the brakes ? That's the problem with Arkansas fans, we win a game that we led most of the game and our fans find away to throw cold piss on the fire. Screw that, we used to win games like this all the time during Sutton's term as coach. A win is a win. But pump your brakes, let's give it back to Ga Tech. F that.

There are just a couple that do that no matter what the conversation is. They're even doing it in the recruiting thread talking about pumping the brakes for this year when nothing going on in that thread has anything to do with this season.

we should all be enjoying the win. I just saw us not need to shoot well to beat a decent team. that's a big deal, I don't know that I expected us to be that good this season.

GTFO.

You dont suspend a guy for that. You get in his arse about it and move on. Call it a coachable moment and enjoy the road win.

And yet we won. We lost to a worse GT team last year at home. This team was able to grind out a win which is a nice asset.

Props to all the Hog fans that traveled and showed up in the Atlanta area, there were a lot.

I used to go to Georgia Tech football games with a friend who went there when they played on Thursday nights. Tonight very much reminded me of that, I've never seen a fan base bitch about the refs more than Georgia Tech. They are completely revolting.
