Even if he does get beat out, super happy that he's here. There's absolutely nothing but positives about having a personality like this in your locker room.

Guy feels like the most competent QB we've had on tbe field in damn near a decade.
Defiently has the best throwing motion and mechanics of a potential starter in the entire Smile, Bert, Chad disaster era.
I would expect he actually knows the offense, too, and can compete routine passing concepts. Compared to last year, that's a monumental improvement.
In saying all that, I still the the o-Line is going to be the downfall of the whole team.

Kidding aside, that was a cool vid. I have serious doubts about the kid though. We are going to need a mobile QB else whoever it is will get killed back there.

I think he may be here to continue to sharpen is base knowledge in football. Not to be a great player, as he knows that's not going to happen. But he just may end up a great coach, and it could start with a GA at Arkansas. So here to get his foot in the door so to speak.

We've needed a leader at QB for a long time. If nothing else, he seems to have that in spades.

He's an a-hole who doesn't fit in. His ball rotation isn't great. If he doesn't get beat out, we will go 4-8. A high school coach/friend of mine who was on campus last week said he looked average. What I just watched confirms it. Yes, you can bookmark this post
I hope you are wrong. But I definitely appreciate you not blowing sunshine up our collective asses. Its good to have a place where you can offer the fans a different perspective.
