and after checking and running my license, my conceal carry, my errything, he couldn't find anything to write me a ticket for.
As he was walking off with a scowl on his face, I said, lemme ask you a question and he whirled around and practically ran to my window, thinking it might be another chance to write me.. I said, the only reason you tailed me for 3 miles and pulled me over was because of my LSU plates and trailer receiver, right? He said "yes, that shite ought to be against the law in this part of the country"!!
I said, you have a great day too, sir..

I dislike most cops. Had one pull me over one time for "driving to close to the yellow line" even pulled me out of the truck and tried to give me a sobriety test.

Got nailed for going 55 in a 45 one time at 2 a.m. by a cop sitting right at the speed limit change sign in the middle of nowhere before as well.

I will take my cap off to Memphis cops though. They don't do crap and leave you alone. After my car was broken into last year, I had a cop explain to me how to kill somebody in my front yard and get away with it. He didn't investigate the break in, just gave me a case number and that info and was on his way.

Lucky you weren't stopped in Lake Providence. I would charitably refer to such a place as a speed trap.

They just need to make sure they don't miss any SEC football coaches when they foray across our borders.

WAT?!?!?? WHEN did this happen?!??

I've been pulled over MANY times by both Arky & LA troopers (among others), and the Arky troopers are the worst, by far. I've gotten out of tickets from LA, Bama, MS, & TX, troopers, but NEVER an Arkansas one. They always seem to find something to cite me for, every time. You are so lucky. What a douche. Sorry you had that experience though. Damn Arky troopers.

many, MANY police tales here....

When 19 and drinking, had one get behind me as I had already hit a ditch, then he proceeded to push me out, follow me home to make sure I was safe....

At the age of 22, I had two pin me in while also drinking.... Got out, said the A,B,C's and then asked them if they wanted to hear them Backwards... I then proceeded to turn around with my back to them and said them again.. BUSTED! Those cuffs made marks.

The funniest one, at the age of 18 driving in from MO to Arkansas. My mom was in the back seat telling me to slow down or I was gonna get a ticket. We switched drivers and 2 hours later, she got a ticket..

I was an idiot.. NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE PERIOD! God forbid if I had of hurt or killed anyone...

Coming up from Leesville once (in my parents minivan), I was pulled out at gun point for doing 75 in a 55.

I learned real quick - they don't frick around down nare

Hardly

He gave me the "pulled out at gunpoint" discount, and only wrote me for 65 in a 55.

On another occasion on 71 (between Ft Smith and Fayetteville), I was ticketed after the Trooper asked "Do you know how fast you were going?" and I responded with "I know how fast I couldn't slow down". He at least laughed.
