It also doesn’t help that Cunningham let his man walk right by him.

Going for 2
Was the right call IMO

It was the only option. I would have rather had taken the chance on converting the 2PC, as compared to winning it in OT. We couldn't stop OM on offense.

Our D and them giving up the long runs for TD's is perplexing. This isn't the same D that we saw the first four games of the year. Our D lost the game for us, not our offense.

this, never thought I would see this earlier in the season. Just imagine the earlier D with our O yesterday!

The problem is this was our earlier D but against someone who could run the ball and hit deep passes. There were multiple wide open WRs streaking down the field that the opposing team's QB missed in the first couple of weeks. This is what happens when they hit those passes.

I am not saying fire Barry Odom, but teams know how to attack us and I suspect they will do so for the rest of the season. Well other than Moo State.

Rocket wasn’t on the field.

#20 whoever that is

that's who I was talking about

he's got screen blocking in front of him and he's waiting on the throw

if KJ had back-tossed it over to him it would have been brilliant and we'd be 5-1 right now

This post is unintentionally (I think) hilarious.

The closer the LOS is to the goal line, the less room for receivers to maneuver to get open. A pass play from the three puts eight defenders in the end zone. From the eight, four or five. Play action freezes the LBs and gives the receivers room to find open space.

KJ had Johnson open for the shovel pass. He just had his eyes glued on Burks. The call wasn’t bad. Execution was. Oh well. We flipped the coin and lost the toss.

Learning moment. We’ll get better from it.

When you need 3-5 yards and Rocket has been picking up 8 per carry, in fact the lowest average for carry was KJ and he averaged 4.3. That probably when I would have pounded it, but I am not a coach getting paid millions to make those decisions and had it worked, everyone would want raises for Briles.

It gets stuffed and everyone loses their shite, “how do you run right there?!?”

The turnover and defense lost this game. It was a 50/50 play that didn’t go our way.

The other stuff is what we need to focus on this week.

Happy they got the penalties addressed though. They deserve credit for that.

I agree, isn’t that our 2nd or 3rd fumble from plays that should have been blown dead and weren’t.

A RB being stood up no movement for a 2 seconds then a turn over, yet when we are moving the pile we get quick whistles.

A&M finally got caught for clapping on silent snaps. After doing it to us all game.

Didn’t help that Ole Miss WR receivers held every run play it seemed, and their line blocked down field on pass plays, things we have gotten multiple flags for that took back touchdown this year.
