it doesnt mean he's a bad coach. i think hes a good coach
but dropping that kind of game in year 5 means he will likely top out at 7 wins in the SEC West and i'd rather not have to burn this place to the ground again in 3-4 years.
Lets get a younger guy thats hungry and cant sleep at night if he doesnt win by 3-4 touchdowns every week because hes got a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. Not an old man

I've said it before, but I think we need to have a gimmicky offense to compete in the SEC (barring getting an offensive genious like Petrino). We're not ever going to recruit at the level where we can line up and go head to head with the elites.
Leach fits that mold.

That doesn't mean much. Nutt was 2-3 vs Saban. I'd probably take Saban.

I've never been alright with losing to UCA or any FCS team. What makes you think that? But a better question is why are you defending that its ok?

I know he wasn't a favorite with the GOBN at UT, but was that a hindrance enough to cause his record? Or was it just that the talent base on campus really sucked when he got there, and that he had to run off some discipline problems?

No. Want a coach that has evolved with football.....spread offense, zone reads, mobile Qbs, RPOs, aggressive defensive philosophy, etc...
