That comment was crossing the line enough for Pittman to be fired if Yuracek had any balls. Our “offensive line guru” threw his own OLine under the bus at the beginning of the game as a qualifier because he’s a weak loser. Petrino has shown improvement in every game that we could improve.

Yep. No issue with complaining about the lack of funds, but calling dudes the blue light special is too far.

Depends on who sticks around. We took, what, 39 new players onto the roster for this season. That's a lot of turnover, but the new normal most likely.

Agree - keep the lack of funds in house and squeeze boosters. Do people not understand that’s what Saban and even Petrino did? They came in and asked BOT and AD “do you actually want to win? If so, here’s the ‘process’ and formula.”. It’s not rocket science for what it takes at a school like Arkansas no matter the caliber of coach. We have the money to dirty recruit and always have. But man, so mad about what he said about our players. It looked like he’d been telling them that prematurely.

He said something about getting the funds via the conference revenue sharing. My question is why wasn't that already being used? Was there a rule change or something?

I think that there was a lawsuit directly related to it that was favorable(if I’m not mistaken). So we can finally be squeaky clean after getting ourselves left in the rearview mirror. We could already be in a much better position if we had committed and stayed unified with the other players. Everyone else is doing it.

He's just as much of a problem as Pittman if not bigger, IMO. There's no way that dork does us any favors with boosters. I cringe every time I hear him talk. Dude instills zero confidence.

The Arkansas media and administration have worked tirelessly over the last 2 decades to assure us that we're a bottom feeder program who deserves the scraps we're given, and not to ever expect better. I don't buy Yurachek's and the media's bullshite about how "nobody wanted this job."
Yeah, maybe guys like Matt Campbell didn't want to leave their P5 jobs in 2019 for what was perceived as a career killing program, but I don't buy for one second that we couldn't have gotten a solid G5 or a great FCS coach.
Kansas State hired Klieman from NDSU where he won a bunch of championships. He'll probably have them in the playoff this year.
Ohio State hired Tressel from Youngstown State where he won a bunch of I-AA championships.
IU hired Cignetti from James Madison. The guy had won a bunch at the D-II and FCS level. They’re undefeated.
Washington hired DeBoer after he'd won a bunch of titles at Sioux Falls.
The point is that winners win. Good football coaches are good football coaches regardless of level.
If Yurachek had put in even the slightest amount of effort and done some due diligence maybe we could've hired someone a winner from the FCS, but he couldn't be bothered to do that because he was too lazy, stupid, stuck in the past, and doesn’t know jack shite about running a modern athletics program.

Musselman was asked by a booster about interest then put into contact with Yourachek
Cal was asked asked by a booster about interest then put into contact with Yourachek.
Kiffin was asked by a booster about interest then put to to contact with Yourachek who wasn't able to close the deal.
Then Pittman wanted to be here.
He didn't make the big hires at Houston. Long was brought in to bring the program into the 21st century as far as branding, marketing, facilities, etc. Hunter was brought into hire winning coaches. Unless the boosters do his job for him, the success rate has been low. You let the boosters handle the football job and you end up with chaggy as a result.

In reality, other than our Dbacks being absolutely torched 4 times, we played them fairly evenly.
Both our top RBs are hurt. QB was hurt early and played about a quarter when he shouldn’t have.
Poor poor plan defensively.
I’m not defending Pittman….all that’s on him…but in a weird way, it wasn’t as bad as the score.
I suspect we win 2 of our last 3.

There will be no improvement on the OL. It’s year 5. It’s not happening.

Bruh…we got a sixty spot hung on us at home…it was horrible. It could’ve been a hundo if Kiffin wanted to have been.

The hell are you smoking. This team might win the LaTech game. They’ll get torched against Texas in two weeks. Of course they’ll lose to Missouri, because that’s what this Pittman program does.

Definitely. He’s worse. He has the ability to make the hires and fires based upon sound objective criteria. Such as performance or lack thereof.

Well, I can’t think of how he isn’t a complete cuck.
