I'm not a big fan of stAte but this was a good idea.

Associate Athletic Director Jason Martin pledged to wear an Arkansas State football helmet until the Red Wolves sold 10,000 season tickets. Nobody thought he was serious. Nobody will doubt Jason's seriousness again.

I have to give them credit, Arkansas State does bust their butt when it comes to marketing their team. Granted that is because there is probably more people living in my apartment complex then there are A-State fans... but at least they are working at it.

That hand sign is a wolf... two fingers up are ears. Maybe you could see it better from the side.

I'm a stAte fan as well as a Razorback fan. As long as their not playing each other, I don't have to make a choice.

Two homeboys play for stAte, one may start this year, and a local boy from where I currently live committed to stAte a few weeks ago.

I hope Arkansas StAte becomes a constant force in the Sunbelt and adds onto their stadium while enlarging their fanbase. StAte, the University and football program has come a long way.

Arkansas can easily support two known teams. I'm all for playing ASU in a little fun every few years. One is in the SEC with a $100 MM revenue stream and the other isn't, not worried in the least as it's not 1961. If Arkansas loses to ASU we fire the coach, pretty simple.

Its a rip off of Texas's Hook EM Horns, because Arkansas recognizes Texas while lil bro doesn't receive much attention.

It's all starting to make sense now.

j/k

I sadly try to follow all of the State's schools. It's just been something I've done every Sunday since I was a little kid, grab the paper and look at the scores from around the country and see how the AIC schools and Arkansas State did.

Hell, I'm a UCA fan, a Hendrix fan, a Arkansas Baptist Buffalo fan, an HSU fan and a UAPB fan too. None of those play each other so I can root for all of them. Lyon College has started football, they may be in same league as Hendrix but if not, I'll root for them too.

I used to say it would be alright to play stAte every once in awhile until I spent time around their fans. Its amazing how much they hate us while they mean as much to us as UCA or the D2 schools.
