There's only one other seeded team on our side of the bracket, 8Texas Tech. The other side has three: 2Vandy, 6MSU and 7Louisville. Michigan and Florida State are both cinderellas this year and their luck usually runs out at this stage.

I'm thinking we beat FSU and then have to play Texas Tech twice, and I like our chances to make the finals. If I had to guess I'd say Louisville makes it out of the other side because they are red hot right now.

So we wouldn’t play any team from the other bracket until the finals correct?

Interesting first round match up against a coach in his last season having made a career of "good enough" without reaching the peak of the mountain top going against his heir apparent for that title.

FSU scares me more than anyone besides Vandy tbh. You can’t fight destiny.

Remember Dale supported Mike Anderson's mediocrity but grades everyone else differently.

What if it's our destiny and not theirs?

The last national runner up to make the tournament the next year won it all. So we’ve got that going for us.

I know every team that makes it shouldn't be taken lightly. If we don't play well we could go 0-2 and be heading home.

However, I don't think there is a team on our side of the bracket nearly as good as Ole Miss. Given the test we had this weekend we should be well prepared.

The equivalent of never having a losing season in the major sports.

Sure. If you're the kind of guy that thinks a 67% winning percentage as a standard somehow equals being not awful enough to squeak out 49.9, ever.
