I gotta go with Cronin because I love a good closer. I feel pretty confident when he goes out there and starts throwing that hot stinky cheddar. Pretty hard to hit a guy like that at the end of a game.

Every time I see Bonfield up to bat I expect him to go mother frickin yard.

That thing he does with his hand, is that at all common in the pros? Or anywhere?

He's trying to throw a pitcher off his rhythm, correct?

No... he has a ProHitter on his top hand thumb, and by tapping it on his chest he's tucking the flap of it back into position so it keeps the bat from sinking into the palm.

Gates

There’s a lot of them to like but something about him makes me smile when I see him. I wasn’t even alive in the 50s (it’s true Pio, shut up) but Gates looks like he stepped straight out of there to me.

Ftr, I didn’t say he was a hottie (or not) just said he looks like he stepped out of another era.

Probably have to say Eric Cole, switch hitter in the leadoff spot. Does everything the right way, not too flashy. And drastically exceeded expectations this year
