This is another reason why it would be best if we could get the coach in place sooner (Houston losing this weekend). New coach will have to re-recruit some players.

No it wasn’t. Much like Darius Hall last year he’s been recruited by other schools while playing for us.

I have no inside information but they would barely make eye contact and no acknowledgement during the NIT. It certainly seemed like something was going on.

That was the case for quite a few. More to do with the team than coach.

Eh, maybe but I saw plenty of interactions with other players. Chaney fouled out and Mike wouldn't even look at him or address him when he was coming off the sidelines. That alone shouldn't mean anything but certainly fits more with the narrative that he wanted to transfer because of Anderson than the opposite but I guess we will find out.

Chaney had a father figure relationship with CMA.

There are a few players I don't want to see leave but Joe would be the only one for me that would be extremely disappointing.

That could have a small bit to do with it, but players just not getting along and CMA not doing anything about it assuming they'd just gel over the course of the season being around each other so much.
The biggest Q for me is how much of it had to do with Gafford with how the team looked in the NIT without him around.

bullshite. KES was gone no matter what and I know for 1000% fact that Chaney will be a hog next year. He was 50/50 out if Anderson stayed.
