Just what we need, all of the low income folks, getting a minimum wage raise, so they can use more of it at the Casino and apply for more food stamps, SSI/Obamacare, etal….
We are geniuses... I tell ya!

Man, I get it...
I don't really care what folks do with their money, but the minimum wage issue really isn't economically feasible overall.
And casinos feast on lower income folks as well. Ive been in one casino in my life, thought it a waste of time and money. FWIW!

I am really surprised the minimum wage passed by such a large margin.

As am I....
Walmart raised their minimum to 11 buck as hour, and then proceeded to cut hours of their employees and hire more part timers. They cut those employees not only in hours, but in benefits. No longer allowed to invest in their stock program, etc.
Looked good on the surface, but then the employees are hurting just as much, if not more. Sad!
Want to do something about poverty in this state, Education, Training, Hand up... not out!

Here comes inflation.
Who does that hurt, the same people on minimum wage. People like me, wont feel the pinch, customers will though, expect rates/costs to start going up now on everything, and I mean everything. The middle class will carry this burden.

Also, this was huge for fighting against the Democrats and the rampant voter fraud: Voter ID passes to become constitutional amendment

If you believe in the BLM movement, SJW movement, and being offended by everything, you vote democrat.
If you are turned off by all of that crap above, and aren't a liberal pinko commie fig, you vote Republican.

I voted straight Republican ticket in Central AR.
Against Casinos, Against Min Wage increase, for term limits and millage increases to repair schools.
Sadly, the more voters we raise (or invite in) that view the government as the source for their financial security (versus physically protecting the borders type of security) the more problems we'll have. Note: I think most hispanics that cross the border are actually willing to and intend to work very hard for their livings....at least initially. Not all...but most.
I don't view liberals as bad people. I do think that liberals who aren't already wealthy are being played as stooges by a party system run by those that are already wealthy (ala 'elites'). More voters that view the government as the financial safety net equals more voters voting for the party that promises things that can't be paid for like "Medicaid for all" which is insanely impossible.
If you don't get the fact that forcing minimum wage increases upon small independent businesses is going to push them out and that forcing it upon the big boys like Wal-Mart is going to escalate the move toward automation and eliminating the very jobs this allegedly helps....then...well...you're actually a communist and you don't know it. (or a socialist and you think that's now something to be proud of).
Yes, inflation probably results until said automation is accomplished...then the liberals can scream that 'see there...unemployment is back up' and most of America is just too stupid or uniformed to realize why.

God fricking damn it! Stupid poor fricks giving them selves a raise! Its fricking not economically smart! All it does is cause inflation, and give anyone making over minimum wage a pay cut!!!

At least its not $15 an hour, that would wreck Arkansas' small business owners and middle class in a quick fashion.
I'm going to sit back and laugh at all of these college educated kids that take professional entry level jobs and are only making a few dollars more than the dishwasher at their local Mexican restaurant making $11
