Well, I guess no natty this season now. (Sarcasm alert)

The Gafford Doomsday clock is at 4 minutes.

What amazing timing!

While he was far from an integral part of the team this is the worst time of the year to lose someone.

Well he was mostly there, with one or two pretty decent games. Lets see how his replacements pan out.

If we can somehow get Garland cleared and Gafford stays, not super worried about the team next year.

I expect Hall, Osu and Bailey to continually progress and the new guys we have coming in are solid.

Not having Garland this year was a huge loss. He's 6-5 and did some damage in HS Track and Field. Tells me he's pretty damned athletic at that size.

Our 2nd best rebounder and could consistently hit shots around the free throw line.

Yeah, I mean I'll be the first one to say he sucked, but he was the best we had

Y'all need to hang up this pipe dream. It's not happening. He's not turning down the lotto for a rebuild.

He's going top 14?

I'm not on the pipe, wouldn't blame him and probably unlikely he stays but have read in multiple places he's close to Portis and Portis has advised him to stick around and get better.

Crazier things have happened.

Highest projection I saw was 15 so yeah. Unless he just completely crumbles in the tournament he's got a good chance to go lotto.

Didn't know it was that high. Wouldn't blame him at all.

Next year will be rough, possibly where Mike breaks his streak unless we get a huge jump from the young guys.

He's been up and down draft boards all season. Some boards don't even have him in the first round while others have him bordering the lotto. No telling what kind of feedback he'll be getting.

That was my impression and Dad was saying Portis is in his ear.

My dad is also a die hard blue haired homer so go figure.

Beard and Barford both piss him off to no end so we've got that in common.

Beard and Barford are on totally different levels.

Beard makes 60% boneheaded plays. His redeeming qualities are that he can bring the ball up the court against pressure and if Macon and Barford are out, he’s aggressive enough to at least try and score himself. Problem is, he’s terrible at getting the teammates involved.

Barford makes headscratching plays, but he’s a far better all around player than Beard and a lot of his boneheaded plays have positive results.

Beard is far more frustrating to watch than Barford.

By 50000 times to me.

But Barford hasn’t had the year I thought he would. Hopefully he’ll turn into Superman for the postseason.
