I’d like to go look at the numbers to see how different it is.

So just looking at the PAs it looks like this:

2017 vs USCe: 37
2017 vs Bama: 42
2017 vs Ole Miss: 30
2017 vs Coastal Carolina: 25

2017 Total: 134

2018 vs Bama: 40
2018 vs Ole Miss: 21
2018 vs Tulsa: 19

2018 Total: 80

Now obviously there is only 3 games vs 4 so we would have to throw 54 times in the Vandy game to reach the same amount.

Having said that, we are giving up a sack every 40 pass attempts this year vs giving up one every 7.9 attempts when looking at last year over the month of October.

As others have said, this doesn't calculate the opponents strength which will effect the numbers. Still easy to say we have been better, for a number of different reasons.

Just confirms to me that Bielema's offense wasn't as ground and pound as people assumed. Doubt anyone ever thought Morris would run more often than Bielema.

It was always more balanced than people want to believe. After Enos joined and the offense was having a lot of success we were throwing the ball alot. It was perfectly fine when we had the Allen brothers and a strong Oline. We saw over time how they slowly diminished.

I went back and checked and we gave up 13 sacks against Colorado State, North Texas, Auburn and A&M.

Colorado State - 1
North Texas - 5
Auburn - 2
Texas A&M - 5

next project... find out how to get the center to stop dribbling the ball back to the QB every game.

Just guessing, but when you go through 5 qb's, some of which are midgets and some of which are ogres, I'm sure it is hard to find a rythym

none of them though are laying on the ground. it's like he was taught the shotgun snap by being told to granny style bowl that thing back there

Or he has never done it before, and the shots are real. Tons of pressure on the young man.

I’m sure it’s not easy. I would rather him do what he’s been doing than snap it 15 feet over their heads. Haven’t noticed him being bad at the blocking part so for a blue shirt that’s never played the position before not going to be too harsh on him just yet.

Bottom line...everyone agrees I'm pretty certain that Anderson defined 'low bar' as a coach.

Fry is good. We are doing fine. Recruiting is the game for us now.
