It’s worth throwing out there.

Lol. This game doesn’t mean shite. If it did he would put hollan in when things got shaky. I really don’t think winning the sec means anything to any of us. He gave Morris a chance to prove himself and he did. He gave coll a chance to prove himself and he failed. We know more about this team than we did when the night started. That’s what matters most.

Imagine being THIS emotionally fragile over one game.

It's all about the NCAA tournament just like college basketball. The SEC regular season and SEC tournament don't mean jack.

If you happen to win one along the way so be it but how far you go in March Madness and getting to Omaha is what really matters.

The last two SEC champions didn't make it to Omaha.

I’m not just responding to you. And valid point. What I’m getting at is that he has a propensity to do this.too often for being such a “great coach”. Shitting the bed like that in the 8th or 9th inning isn’t new to us. VandyBoys put a tee ball rally on us. As for someone who said that I’m “flipping out over one game” - that’s laughable. Like I said, too many times over too many years. I also DID say and acknowledge that DVH is in the top tier of coaches and we wouldn’t have built what we have without him. He just doesn’t seem to learn and he overthought this. Someone mentioned not caring about winning - games are meant to be won or lost. Finally, is it wrong to be pissed off when it costs what it does to go to a game, when I’m constantly asked to donate more money (no I’m not going to have a complex named after me, but still), when I see more and more frills and the same outcomes. Most of us work jobs and would be in our bosses office having a heart to heart and hope that they were rational (most aren’t) if we turned in 1 day of performance like that. I bet most of y’all judge your Sonic carhops more harshly. He gets paid a lot to win not to keep taking us to Purgatory. I do sincerely hope that I’m wrong. I also hope that y’all see from the majority of my posts that I’m not completely (not completely irrational) most of the time. Finally, I am absolutely ridiculously passionate about baseball - I can turn the game off and walk when it’s football

Not just responding to you, DC. Slept on it and don’t feel much different but I’ll say this. For those comparing me to Dale or calling me a moron - I’m sorry if you can’t handle my delivery on being angry about shitting the bed in the 8th inning of a baseball game with a giant lead. That said, hopefully most of you have seen that I’m generally rational, but I absolutely did lose it over dropping an important game like that. To the Incel posters who called me stupid on a personal level - we lost and have always come up short (which is what I stated), so how exactly am I stupid for being mad about losing with that big of a lead in the 8th. Today, y’all will get my full refrain from any commentary and I’ll let DVH prove himself from here on out. But if we pull something like this again and y’all are still supporting paying someone millions to not win a championship at a championship level program that has everything it needs, you should look in the mirror. Hopefully we see good game management, a focused team, and do what we need to to get ready for Regionals. Yes, I will concede post-season is what matters and maybe this was getting something bad out early that can be discarded and learned from. Just get sick of our MO sometimes. I’m never going to be a lifer Razorback fan that lives my whole life being satisfied with top notch facilities and nothing to show - I went to games at Gary Cole field as a kid and DVH did not build upon Coach D’s foundation and get us here to not win, so in the words of my dad’s buddy -

I’ll also add this. As a human, while I’ve heard that some former players have talked trash about him regarding their player/coach relationship, he is a great person, a Deacon at St. Joseph’s who participates in numerous philanthropy and community events, and was one of coach Mac’s pallbearers. So, I’m not saying he’s a POS and I AM very proud of the rep that he has given us in addition to getting us to Omaha multiple times. Just can’t stand the thought of us becoming the next FSU of college baseball.

If this were football and we had the same resources we have in baseball I might be more on board with you but it’s incredibly hard to win the whole NCAA tournament even if you’re without a doubt the best team all year long.

It’s a random tournament and the winner of it doesn’t really even mean you’re the best team most of the time. There’s no way FAU was one of the four best teams in college basketball last year either.

I would rather lose the Vandy series and the SEC title if that meant making it to Omaha.

Bragging about an SEC title just means you didn't make it to Omaha.

More times than not if a team makes a final four like a trip to Omaha then they are one of the best teams in the nation.

Totally agree. Just don’t like seeing a meltdown late in the game like that. We absolutely should be a national seed and we’ll get our shot. Like I said, I’ll refrain from going full NegaHog today regardless. And I admittedly hold DVH to a ridiculously high standard of a fan because he is a damned great coach. I don’t take back any of what I said because it was most certainly an in-the-moment rant, but we do have 1 more game. I’d love to see us forget the bad about last night and come out like madmen. Also, I hope Bolton is okay and I hope that Holt’s nuts are alright.

I'm taking the moral victory approach here.

I understand the frustration with last night, but I would rather the team and a freshman have a meltdown in the regular season even the 2nd to last game of the season than in post season.

That way they can learn from it and get it out of their system and DVH and staff can see how they learn from it and respond to it today.

Bringing in Pio's boy was an obvious choice. I don't even blame DVH for it. I have been critical of him maybe not as much as Dale. Wood was rested and has been nails the last few weeks. Morris wasn't gonna go longer than 40+ pitches. He has been injured most of the season, but it is good that he is coming back into form from last postseason just as this post season arrives. We finally have a reliable lefty arm out of the pen that we have sorely been missing.

Here's to hoping today that Adcock can pull his head of his arse and go longer than an inning.

I never want the hogs to lose, however... I would laugh so freaking hard if the Hogs lost, LSU lost, and Florida Lost...

After pulling a mild Lebowski that is... Then I would laugh!

I don't want to see the Razorback team that played Oregon State after the dropped foul ball in Omaha.

That'll show me progress in the mental toughness category.

Norse, not French hence the intolerance for losing. You care enough to post. Also, it’s a sports message board. I didn’t say his truck should be burned and I’m pretty sure that I copped up to making some irrational posts on the internet. Some of what you just said was pretty incendiary and not related to sports and pretty personal. I’ve always enjoyed your posts and takes. I’m not going to respond in kind and hope that you have a nice day. You’re entitled to your opinion as I did post what I posted.

You’re right about that. I’m not very dramatic myself so I auto eyeroll when i see if but you’ve always been cool before so sorry for being a heifer and very sorry for comparing you to an LSU fan- that was way beyond the pale on my part.
