Or does he just have problems facing certain systems, mainly the spread, or any team with a dual threat qb.

Someone said Wisconsin people said he had the issue he had this year there.

I just don't see how they can say that when his worst year waz 8-4.

Yeah this year is the only year I felt like he has Had that problem and you would think if he really does slack some during the year he wouldn't do it against the same teams every year. (You can't really count Bama because no one hardly beats them anyway)

No. I can only think of one maybe two games he has lost here that I thought the team was flat from the opening whistle

Yes, and I've highlighted this as a concern for the last few years.

In the Big Ten, or at least the one Bert coached and played in, you only have to get up for one big game every couple of weeks. You can spend a few weeks getting your team laser focused and jazzed up for Ohio State and not worry about a letdown because you're following that big game with the likes of Indiana, Purdue, Northwestern and Illinois.

In the SEC, you can't do that because of the meat grinder schedule we have, and it's why we've experienced this seesaw with Bert, particularly this year.

We've lost basically due to disparity in talent in every game except the Missouri game.

Our biggest problems have been getting off blocks on defense and pass protection on offense.

I haven't seen a lack of enthusiasm or effort. Our guys are trying, they're just not good enough, fast enough, or taking bad angles.

It seemed like every time there was a big run there was always at least one player taking a horrible angle on the play. The knight runs against A&M, too many to mention in the Auburn game.

His worst year there was 7–6.

We need to get back to fundamentals on defense sure tackling good angles and being in position fix the problems there.

Offense was mostly fine till they aren't then they're terrie
