Backup LB D’Vone McClure is leaving the team and entering the transfer portal. Take from that what you will. He’s bounced around at a ton of different spots since coming back to college and will most likely need to drop down a division to get the playing time he wants.

Is there an advantage to a player entering the portal now as opposed to waiting until the season is over? Genuinely curious... I don't fully understand the transfer rules.

Makes you wonder if Chad was really trimming the fat when he got here, or a lot of the players just realized he's a total butt clown with no clue what he's doing so they bailed. I'm beginning to think it's the latter. He didn't recruit nearly enough players to replace all the ones who left, surely that wasn't his plan.
