What if TCU has a Tennessee-like change of heart when the fans revolt over the Briles name, like some already are? It'll be a few overly sensitive skyscreamers screaming the loudest about the hire, but the corporate decision makers tend to listen to those people the most.

Could get interesting

Briles may be the next big thing, but he obviously isn't our problem anymore. I looked at his twitter last night, still showed Arkansas. Bet it's changed now!

ETA: Nope! I guess Sam has moved on so fast Briles can't keep up!

One rumor going around was that Kimble Briers was claiming he would bring KJ and Sanders with him as he was lifting his skirt to other teams.

Man, if that happens... Or even one of them follows him

I hope our skill position guys realize the gift they were given in Enos, especially when it comes to developing KJ further, distributing the ball, TEs getting involved, and offensive production all around. They obviously have a relationship with Briles, but I hope they take to Enos quickly and get familiar with his past here and elsewhere

Kinda wonder if Briles raise was more about preventing the bad optics of him leaving for a division rival

Briles when Pitt and HY called his bluff:

I am not a KB hater, but I think he dipped his toe in the pool a bit too often. He probably had the inside track on the Arkansas job had he stayed and I don't think Pittman really wants to coach well into this 70s.

At TCU he should probably run up the score on some truly woeful Big 12 defenses and position himself to land a head coaching gig soon. So he will get a P5 job, probably, but it might not be as good as he hoped for.

As for Enos, well it makes a lot of sense. He has head coaching experience so Pittman probably wants that on his staff. He loves the school since his wife basically went scorched Earth on "frick yeah we want to live in NW Arkansas again." Hard to stay at Maryland after that.

It is what it is. I am really interested in what Enos can do with KJ as a passer. We all thought, myself included, that Brandon Allen was the worst big game QB in Arkansas history until Enos got his hands on him.
