Reposting what I put in the other thread since I’m lazy.

I love the hire.

That 2015 offense was a thing of beauty. One of the best we’ve ever had, and put 54 on Auburn, 53 on Ole Miss, 31 on LSU, 50 on Mississippi State (we win that game if Bert doesn’t take the ball out of BA’s hands and play for the field goal), and 45 on Kansas State.

Brandon Allen’s development in 2015 and Austin Allen’s development in 2016 were due in no small part to his coaching. BA was a *completely* different QB in 2015 after being in purgatory in 2014 and 2014 under Jim Chaney. Enos was also pivotal in the development of both Tua and Taulia.

I also love how he uses the TE, as we saw with Henry, Sprinkle, and O’Grady during his first stint here. This year at Maryland they had two TEs who put up 494 yards and 314 yards and 6 TDs between them, both better than what Knox tallied.

2015 was the year Hunter won the Mackey Award, but remember, Sprinkle also had a great year that year. He was our #2 TE and still finished with nearly 400 yards and 6 TDs. So, Sprinkle had a much better year as an our #2 than Knox did this year as our #1 TE (and there was nobody behind him).

Stoked about this hire. That 2015 offense was one of my favorites. I don't really have anything against Knipple Buyers but not having 4 bidding wars after every season will be nice
