They all slow down in the winter, but 2 of them stopped in early fall.

Looked into it, but if I remember correctly you can only own 8 birds and you have to get the pen inspected and some other shite.
Too much of a hassle, I can just go hunt them when I’m itching for some qual.

Yeah, I'm not sure about all that. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has launched a habitat restoration initiative for Bob White Quail recently.

If I remember right they'll even pay you money to convert a portion of your farmland to suitable quail habitat.
I'm considering doing it myself but was wondering if anyone had actually tried to raise them before.

Tomorrow is the first day they can add the 10th assistant. Wish they had kept Michael Smith for that if possible. He recruiting in Louisiana has been valuable.
