D1 Baseball ranks Hogs No. 2 program in the country

Surprised no one has mentioned this.
They heavily weighted last five years.
Four of the top five are SEC programs. Oregon State rounding out top five.
Florida, Misstake, us, Vandy top four.

Wow, you do know that the outfielder has to actually call off the infielder
Shaddy did exactly what he was supposed to do, go for the ball until he’s called off. Eric Cole gave up on the ball and it still damn near hit him in the foot. This post was edited on 10/3/22 at 10:45 pm

This isn't a one-year thing. It's a look at the past few years, and over the past few years, we are better than most anyone in the country, including LSU.

If we didn't have a pitching staff that ranked near the bottom in walks allowed we might well have had that title last year.
The Ole Miss elimination game was one thing, but it never should have happened... the game before where the pitching utterly failed to locate was the key issue.
It was the key issue all year... pitchers with great 'stuff', but allowing free bases along the lines of bottom-feeder programs.
I've been a long-time DVH fan, and I know he supports his assistants, but IMO Hobbs sucks. Sucks. Sucks hard.
I've listened to him talk to his pitchers during bullpens, and I've listened to his pitchers talk about him. He doesn't recruit pitchers. He recruits throwers and hopes some of them can locate as pitchers (Hagen Smith is the only legit, proven pitcher out of the last two cycles IMO).
