No clue but he is gonna be like 9-3. Why not try to get a job before another mid arse season?

It’s my hope HY leaked those names to see fan reaction like he did with bball.

That’s a little different than having to be physically restrained from getting in a fan’s face after hearing a mild negative comment from them

Exactly. I will take his results at Miss State or Florida in a heartbeat.

If we screw around and get played by Dilly only to lose Morris, I’m getting an online MBA from Bama.

Sounds like Campbell has some dog in him probably what the Razorback football team needs. Instead of lying down when confronted and giving up. Some of our fanbase needs their arse kicked, so FAFO with Matt.

What exactly do you think his results were at both places?

What is the accomplishment that everyone stops and goes, well yes of course.

Mississippi State was ready for Mullen to leave when Florida came calling. His inconsistent record up and down seasons and his flirting with other teams every season got old for them. When finally left for Florida, he wore out his welcome after the previous coach’s talent left and Mullen couldn’t replace it.

Sounds a lot like Ole Houston Nutt to me. Nutt’s inconsistent record acting like he’s doing us a favor coaching here and coasting till his seat gets hot. Leaves for Ole Miss, does well with Coach O talent then crashes when the talent is gone.

Congratulations on wanting Houston Nutt 2.0 without the connections to the state or Razorbacks cause that’s what Mullen is.

Yeah instead they would rather have a mild manner second place on the hill type coach and bitch about the one that got away.

Going back to hiring of Sam, HY has done excellent job of memory hole his going before the BOT looking for approval to hire Barry Lunney JR as HC.

All that glitters isn't gold, ain't nothin wrong with silver, prepare thy self as the road has become difficult to navigate.

Not sure what you’re tying to prove. I see eight 8+ win seasons. With a mix of some seasons that would have you within the playoff conversation. No horrible seasons.

I stand by that. I would take those results guaranteed in a heartbeat.

He’s had better results than Nutt. But… I would take Nutt 1.0. Where exactly do you think we are as a program right now?

What exactly has Campbell done? Worse resume than Mullen overall, none of it in the SEC, yet y’all want to suck him off.

Obviously if that true the program would not be looking for a HC right now.

I’m literally astounded that you post by far the best resume of any coach we could hope to have a slim chance at hiring, and you think it’s some sort of point against him

Same reason why people think Kiffin is the best HC right now, because of what he's done and where he's at.

Mullen had that then crashed and burned at Florida.

Context matters.

Going 5-6 in the SEC after multiple successful years is crashing and burning…

So what do you call 3-9 and 4-8 seasons in the big 12 (while playing a total of 1 top ten team in both seasons combined)?

Context

Easy to say that. Imagine if Sam had turned around and got in a fan's face for saying he's on the hot seat.

He'd be universally hated immediately

What had Mullen accomplished?

Conference titles?
Playoff appearances?
Major bowl wins?

Instead of the strawman game, let's start with what makes to so hard for Mullen.

He gets less resources than the top G5 teams and still wins in P4 conference.

Why do you think he got worse every year? Because he doesn’t recruit. Miss St fans will tell you the same thing.

Also pointing out his 3-9 first season in comical
