Golesh is mad because they wanted to surprise the wife’s family… he’s still coming. When it got out, the surprise was gone so it ticked them off. Now, if Florida or someone big comes calling, he may consider the move. I expect him to announce his Arkansas move Sunday afternoon or Monday…

If it’s not done Saturday night, Sunday morning at the latest, Hunter should be fired. Because anything later than that we are in a bidding war with all the other schools and Hunter loses that every time.

I really want to know the conversation Acri had with Schapp after sending that tweet. He went on the radio 4 ish hours after with Wess and definitely sounded like he’d been through the ringer.

Most people don't really see this coming. This is why I don't really give a damn if Petrino stays if we don't make a hire that takes SERIOUS commitment from ALL the large boosters and fans. It has to be a Cal type of hire. If we can't do that we don't belong in the coming highest division in CFB.

The sad truth is that we probably don't belong. We don't have the support needed to compete in a higher division. We might flounder around in it for a while since we are right on the cusp of programs that could swing it but how many seasons are we going to be content to sit at the bottom of the league?

Honestly, I hope we get left behind. I would feel good about supporting a program that had a bunch of Arkansas kids on it again. I'm happy to play Ok St/Baylor/Kansas etc. We would be one of the blue bloods of the lower division instead of a cellar dweller in the highest one.

I want football to feel good again.
