I see you left out the part were I said I wasn't a fan. I soured on Petrino very quickly but if we aren't going to make a serious hire, why get rid of him?

Appreciate you doing that, probably opened up some good seats for me

Glad you are willing to shell out money to watch the team suck every cock in the SEC. Not for me but I'm glad someone enjoys it.

9:25 a.m. – Schaap tweets that Golesh has accepted Arkansas’ offer and will be the next Head Hog.

This makes no sense. Petrino would be the cheapest option by far.

With. No booster. Support.

Look. You and I and the rest of the "common folk" loved petrino. We also didnt donate more than 2 to 5k a year for our seats.

This is so far above our measly existense. Dont be obtuse.

My point being there is money all over this state and whiney fans who can't see the difference between on campus facilities and the trash that war memorial has turned into is just even more proof our fan base can't be taken seriously. Would rather hold on to yesterday than even think about the future. Petrino proves my point as well

None of this is a compelling argument. Texas has been run by boosters for decades. Not exactly a blueprint I want to follow.

Not to mention insinuating you can't have an opinion on a hire simply because you weren't the billionaire that bought him is ridiculous.

He’s talking about NIL booster support. BP wouldn’t get it.

Hell he ran the team for 8 weeks and had his coaches beating up players.

Same difference. We already have boosters throwing a fit about Golesh. They're never all gonna be happy, but I'm not advocating for Bobby to get the job. I've known that ship has sailed for weeks. Saying you can't have an opinion because you don't donate enough is weird, though.

Waiting to hear the bad part.

I understand that what you say is morally correct, but thats just not how this works anymore. Its all about money. That's it. These coaches and players do not and will not love your helmet.

I’m sure there’s a couple but they’re willing to put up $10-15M/yr than they gave Pitt. That’s substantial.

Golesh does nothing for me. He had by far the most talent in the AAC and still couldn't get it done. I would take Petrino over any of the names being mentioned except Campbell and I'm not a big fan of the Petrino I saw this year at all.

Golesh won’t have a zillion yards in penalties and a dozen unforced errors every week like Petrino does.

He’ll be a great fit.

Just more talking out of the arse for the sake of degrading Petrino.

South Florida averages more penalty yards this year than we do.

All Bobby had to do was win a couple of games. Instead, he shite the bed against State and Aubbie.

He refused to bench Tay Tay when it was obvious to Stevie Wonder and everyone else that he was trash, (Bobby's hand picked QB)

His offense constantly stalled in the red zone when we needed points.

I am and always will be a huge fan of Bobby. That run he had was some of the best years for me as a hog fan.
His time is up and the chapter must be closed.

Quit defending your hero man. He had a damn good run and a second chance.

Y’all insist it has to be about hero worship, living in the past or some sort of cult mentality. I couldn’t care less about that. All I want is the coach that gives us the best chance to win. I see Petrino as a better option than Golesh.

What y’all want to use to disqualify Bobby is his record after taking over mid season. My claim is that whoever your favorite pick to be coach is , they would have had the same result if they were named interim for us.

We didn’t fire Chad for going 2-10 his first year.

Everyone’s darling Matt Campbell went 3-9 and 4-8 with much easier schedules, but it doesn’t disqualify him.

Bobby is the only one who gets held to this standard of winning immediately. He hasn’t even been given one offseason.

Has Bobby lost the team? No - in fact the team has played harder for him than they did for Sam.

Is his scheme outdated? No we have a top 10-15 offense in the country.

You can fault him for picking a QB that didn’t pan out, but that’s the easiest fix in the world in the transfer era. There’s nothing about his track record that says he’s not likely to get a great QB. In fact we may already have one.

FWIW - there are guys I would support over Bobby. Golesh is just not one of them. And I’m not saying that he’s going to be 100% a failure because there are things I do like about him. I just liked our odds better with BP going forward

I think Bobby could still be successful. But the powers that be just aren’t going for it. Just feels like we’re beating a dead horse at this point guys

Bobby's second motorcycle crash wasnt with a 6 ft blonde this time, but a 6'6 sub par quarterback with dreadlocks.
