Bret Bielema didn't offer him a scholarship.

LINK

This is the infamous recruit that said Bret told him he "wouldn't know what do with a guy who runs a 4.3 40"

Well there is this thing called the transfer portal if he's really serious about us being his dream school

Could definitely use a guy like him. Same place Isaiah Campbell is from.

I really haven't understood why we don't hit the KC area more in football recruiting. DVH always is hitting that region.

It’s always seemed to me that you could be pretty successful here just focusing on Arkansas, DFW, East Texas, KC, STL, Memphis, North Louisiana and maybe Nashville. Go outside that area for your bread and butter positions (TE for Bielema, WRs for Petrino and Morris) and then call it a day. Chasing a 3* CB in Valdosta, GA or Greenville, NC just seems like a waste of time and resources.

The Bert years in a nutshell. You don't want to take players who have talent and want to play for you school after all. Sigh.

Just go 6 hours in any direction from Fayetteville and that’s where you recruit.

Kansas City
Shreveport/Bossier City
OKC
Tulsa
DFW
Memphis

Not even including the state of Arkansas...

There problem with this list is that in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana we are second tier behind in state schools. In KC we can compete with Mizzou but Nebraska will own that soon again with Frost. Tennessee being in the shitter really helps us with Memphis, we’re already starting to see that happening. Bottom line is we just need to win, that’s what helps recruiting the most.

Bruh, if you use all of your scholarships on talented kids straight out of HS then you don't have any left to use for a 5th year senior walk on and you'll never have an elite walk on program. Duh!

I hope FatBert chokes on a chicken leg in front of his gold-digging skank.

It's like I said on the main board. My sauce told me that this kid's problem was that he had good size, but he was also fast. Brett doesn't trust people like that.

Though I agree. It's his wife... she married him. They have a kid. She didn't leave after he got fired. If she was full on gold digger. She would have left when he lost his cush job, and raked in his money. Instead she stuck around. I figure by this point she just found a way to love him.

Add or replace with Monroe\West Monroe\Ruston. Same distance from Fayetteville but more talent.
