Both Kevin Sumlin and Tom Herman were signed by him I think and they were good enough to (iirc) pull Houston up to FBS from the FCS, where they continue to win.

Check the dates of his being AD at Houston....

I don't GAF if Frank Broyles' corpse made the final call.

Interesting. I went to look that information up and one of the first things that popped up was Yurachek talking about how he had wanted to hire Morris when he was at Houston.

So that answers that question. He also wanted to hire Lane Kiffin.

Also Harry, to your question about who hired Morris, I can assure you Yurachek had to sign off on it.

thats' the point Ed. Yurachek didn't hire him. The actual two or three guys who really pulled the strings are hiding behind Yurachek.

Well, I'm certainly not surprised they are going after the Clemson coaching tree. It makes perfect sense for Arkansas to try and replicate that model, and we have players here connected to that University.

So essentially this is a thread about you being pissed that the "GOBN" didn't get their way and hire either Malzahn or Norvell.

Sorry bud, thems the breaks sometimes.

He's not a former corn row wearing coke head and poon hound.

That sells him for me.

No. It's not.

Yes, it is. And if you include the NFL coaches who never played pro football, so they "have no idea what it's like to be a pro athlete" your statement is even more ridiculous, an accomplishment in itself.

And he's not successful

And he's just been hired to be the Razorbacks coach, hmmm. You know what? I bet everyone in Fayetteville hates the Razorbacks and wants them to go down in flames! I bet they want to end our football program, hell probably the whole university!

Or maybe they have different parameters for what should be considered success than one Harry Rex Vonner? What's more likely?

My God what a stupid post from you.

You're just trolling me now. You just hit submit on the dumbest, most Hogville post I've seen in this entire coaching search saga, and you think you can recognize a stupid post from me?
