Wilcox and Heupel sound like Morris 2.0. I would put Harsin ahead of Mendenhall.

Never been a Leach guy myself, but don’t tell me he wouldn’t be an improvement over what we have going right now.

Leach is a solid and proven coach. I like him but I don't expect everyone to like his personality or coaching philosophy. He would be a big improvement for certain.

Harsin would probably be my #1 choice (or Leach) but I don't think either would ever be considered.

Harsin would be crazy to leave Boise State for Arkansas.

3) Willie Fritz

This is one to watch right here. He’s won everywhere he’s been and knows how to rebuild. If he pulls off some wins during their upcoming gauntlet of Memphis, Temple, UCF and SMU then he’s going to be a pretty hot name in the coaching carousel this offseason.

yea I'm not trying to say these are amazing hires, just who I think we realistically have a chance at getting.

I agree. But I can't decide which would be crazier, not considering Harsin for the job or Harsin actually accepting.

Not considering him would be crazy. I’d call him on the off chance that he fell in love with the state of Arkansas while he was here. I’d expect him to say no, if he even took the call, but you still have to swing that bat on that one.

That settles it. Not considering him for the job would be crazy as hell.

Les Miles could be added to this list.

I would actually love to see us hire Les and keep Chavis. The SEC media would have a field day and that combo worked well at LSU. Sure the game has changed some, but they've done it before and could probably do it again.

Let's hire someone who moves here, instead of keeping their family in another state!!

That seems like a basic level of commitment to our program the incoming $5m man should have

Matt rhule, Matt Campbell, graham harrell, art/Kendall bridles, , Jon Brady are all guys I would consider as well as mike leach. Get an offensive minded guy that will know how to use our stud receivers (assuming they don’t transfer)

I never thought Leach would be interested, but folks say he was, in the Morris search. IDK

Mike Irwin stated just a few weeks prior that Leach was indeed interested, but was never contacted by anyone at the U of A. Irwin then proceeded to call the U of A administration a bunch of "goobers" for not contacting him.

Keep Chavis? Hell no!?! Chavis is a big part of the problem right now.

Sonny Dykes, lol

At least he was able to clean up the mess that Chert left behind.

Chavis couldn’t stop a WR playing QB. It’s easy. Go man and bring the house while controlling the edges. It was a WR not Brady back there. He’d have thrown picks or got sacked all game long.

Chief is washed up.

Fritz sounds pretty good from his bio. Kind of like Harsin, but we should still have a shot at him.

This is without a doubt one of the correct answers, and I have despised that MF for years.

But if he were to be OUR MF then back the Brinks truck up.

It was discussed years ago that UM impregnated a UF coed... but you never saw it in the media. Just as Twitter was entering the national consciousness, and not yet an everyday information outlet.

It's like the UF athletic department cared about winning. Meyer proceeds to waltz across the national stage for years, and no one brings it up.

At this point I’d be happy to fire Chad today and hire Nutt for the rest of the season. And I hate myself for even thinking that.
