Last sports talk with Bo show will be February 28th. Sport and Story, the company that produces the show, is shifting focus in their business model marking the end of the show.
Farewell sweet midget, go ever gently into the night.

I always respected the ability of that show to pull solid guests but I couldn't stand most of Bo's takes.

Yeah he was overly repetitive and when Bart Pohlman was hosting, it was downright torture to listen to.

Local sports talk shows are driven by a good football program. When you (as a fan) continued to get kicked in the nuts by your football program, interest drifts away.
Truthfully, life is just a little bit better when your favorite sports team is doing well. I really hope tChad can build something here....we sure need it.

Yeah, alot of this as well. Would feel like many segments would be him repeating something that is fairly obvious than commercial break. Of course, I really didn't listen to him much overall so I don't have a huge sample size.

Bo owns Sport and Story, so it's his decision to end the show.
As an out of state fan, his podcast has been a great way to get a daily dose of the Hogs. I'll certainly miss it.

I enjoy listening to Bo's show. Of course, by nature of his business, he is going to say stuff a lot that upsets certain segments of the fan base, but by and large his show is way better than other options out there in this state.
I kinda like Grant Hall's Press Row show, but I can't stand it when Vernon speaks. Lol. I've never seen a co-host to a radio show talk over the host as much as he does. And talk about repetitive, the guy makes a point he thinks is profound or something and will spend the next five minutes speaking over anyone else trying to talk reiterating his point over and over and more and more loudly each time.
I like Grant's takes on things, but the co-host makes that show hard to listen to.
Bo's show is orders of magnitude better by comparison.

From what I hear time to time, you are probably right but that isn't saying much imo

Living out of state I’ve come to enjoy the show. Also, it’s a much better show quality wise than most local sports talk shows around the country. I’ve always thought he kept his takes balanced in order to draw callers from both sides. He stayed too positive and near the side of Bielema (maybe for personal reasons). I’ll listen to the podcast.

I liked the calls after football games on Mondays.

He is focusing on the video aspect of his business, but will still be doing a 1 hour podcast.

It's obvious for some reason that his show, whixh had extremely higher production value than anything on the buzz, and especially the fricking downright amateurish and laughable Drive Time, did not catch on for some reason around the state.
I think only about 4 or 5 stations even carried his show, and most were in the northwest Arkansas area.
It's strange, he his competition was atrocious from 4 p.m. On, but it was Drive time that you can get in virtually every small town market on the state.
I just don't get it.
Mattingly had his weak spotsz and being too pro current coach at all times was the biggest, but with his small market share, he can probably make just as much or more from a podcast and an amplified video production company that regularly contracts with espn. Plus he now has so many connections with coaches and agents and media types from his regular guest spots, that he can make it work.
I honestly think the most devastating part of his show, was there wwre simy far too many commercials.

Me and my brother called it commercials with bo.
I guess I'll tweet at bo to do rev's idea to cover chad from a coach/father of a recruit perspective. Now that things like that are his full time job.

I tried to get you royalty rights, but bart was doing the negotiations, and i found him to be insufferable.

I enjoyed Bo when I was stuck in a car in NWA. I listed to him the day bobby wrecked. Always remember it cutting out around Huntsville changing from 99.7-104.3. (Probably wrong, but think those were the channels)
