Im not. Sampson made it to the Tourney once at Wazzu and twice at Houston. The rest of his NCAAT appearances are at high-level schools in their respective conferences (Oklahoma and Indiana). IMO VaTech is equivalent to Houston in basketball prestige, probably lower.
