Its all mental with his misses (as it is for everyone in the history of the game but Shaq). He shoots 85%+ during practice yet hasn't hit the front in of a one and one all season.
If he catches and shoots from the line he will make it, the longer he holds the ball the less likely it is to go in for him.

I know that pass out to Macon for a 3 was one of the better passes I've seen in a while. Could you imagine how nasty Gafford would be if he stayed 3 seasons like Big Nasty did? I know it ain't happening, but it would be fun to watch.

Our current projection (Lunardi) would give us Duke in the 2nd round in Charlotte. Would the melt be as big or bigger than if we had gotten UNC again?

I've been a little disappointed in the FTs this season, though I think it's mostly due to personnel changes. Dusty Hannahs and Moses were good FT shooters, and CJ Jones hasn't seemed to get the same number of touches that Hannahs did (though he's getting better). Also, replace Moses with Gafford and your FT shooting will go down (though Gafford has improved this season).
